National Awareness Campaign on Single-Use Plastics 2021 Southern Regional Event | 27 July 2021

A two-month long awareness campaign on Single-Use Plastics jointly organized by Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India in collaboration with UNEP, GIZ, FICCI with was launched on 8^th June 2021 by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India across Northern India. The awareness campaign consisted of four online regional events, along with a social media campaign on mitigation of plastic pollution. The second regional event for Southern India covering stakeholders from Industry, Government, Citizens group and Academic institutions was launched, on 27^th July 2021.
