SINTEF was one of the organisers of the online Workshop on ‘Environmental Restoration and Circular Economy’. The workshop was organised on 12.6.2021. Dr. Kåre Helge Karstensen, Chief Scientist and Programme Manager- OPTOCE made a presentation on the progress of the OPTOCE project and on EU’s Green Deal. This event was a pre-meeting of the 11th IconSWM-CE 2021 conference scheduled in December 2021. The Workshop was attended by more than 100 participants from countries, such as Germany (30% female participation). There were other presentations from experts from Bangladesh, Hungary, Germany, Zambia, Russia, Ethiopia, Indonesia, Georgia and Nigeria.
