Plastic waste recyclers from Bihar on 25th July 2023

UNEP, in collaboration with the Bihar SPCB, organised a meeting with plastic waste recyclers from Bihar on 25^th July, 2023. The primary focus of the meeting was to discuss the challenges faced by recyclers in registering and meeting the requirements of the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) online portal. The workshop was useful in addressing these issues which were essential to foster efficient collaboration between stakeholders and streamline recycling processes. The insights gained from this session should aid in devising strategies to overcome barriers and improve the efficiency of plastic waste recycling. The workshop also encouraged the recyclers in Bihar to register on the online portal.
