INOPOL Project partners kicked off the next phase of the project, building on momentum of the first phase to strengthen capacities to reduce plastic pollution and persistent organic pollutants in India, with a particular focus on the States of Tamil Nadu and Uttarakhand.
During the kick-off, scientists, and project partners from Norsk institutt for vannforskning (NIVA), Mu Gamma Consultants, SRM Institute Of Science and Technology KTR, Central Institute of Plastics Engineering & Technology (CIPET) and Toxics Link met with stakeholders from local and central governments, private sector, and civil society actors to discuss the focus and objectives of INOPOL2.
